About Chris

Chris Rupp is a vocalist, arranger, and songwriter based in Orlando, Florida. He co-founded Home Free in 2000 and spent 15 years helping build the group into champions of NBC's The Sing-Off — one of the most recognized names in a cappella music.

A graduate of Minnesota State University with a degree in music, Chris has spent his career crafting arrangements that blur genre lines — weaving pop, soul, country, and gospel into performances that connect with audiences of all kinds. He currently leads 7th Ave Vocal Band, a high-energy four-piece vocal group based in Orlando, and serves as music director for Cypress Fyre, an Orlando-based country harmony trio.

Beyond the stage, Chris is a content creator, arranger for hire, and software developer. His YouTube channel has accumulated millions of views across original songs, covers, and vocal arrangements. Whether he's behind a mic or behind a screen, he's always building something.
